What to Bring
Insulated bottle
Use free ice water instead. If you bring an insulated bottle, even better.
What to wear
Breathable clothes
Broken in sneakers
Brimmed hat
Fun t shirts or a fun bag / Small Backpack
One of the unexpected fun things in a park is when someone says hey that’s a cool shirt or a cool backpack.
Travel-size SPF 50+ sunscreen
Get a small tube or stick that can live in an outside pocket so you’ll actually reapply.
Portable phone charger (power bank)
Your phone will be working overtime (photos, Lightning Lane, maps, Mobile Order). A small power bank = fewer “we have 9% left” emergencies.
A Cooling 'something'
A colling towel or portable neck fan is going to help. If you have little ones a stroller you can give them shade with the stroller and a good fan or two rigger to the stroller can go a long way towards keeping the little ones cool.
Ponchos (only if they make sense that day)
If rain is likely, it’s a rainy season day, or you’re planning water rides. If the forecast is clear and you’re not doing splashy stuff, skip the bulk. If its not a disposable poncho remember to dry it out. They get musty and gross.
One or two zip-top bags (situational)
Not a whole box. Just 1–2 for sudden rain, water rides, or keeping a phone dry on splashy days.
Anti chafe
If you’re prone to thigh/heel rub, a tiny anti chafe stick can save your day.
